What is there

The site contains many historical paintings on the cliffs of the Arnhem Land Escarpment and Plateau. These paintings are typically of the local aborigines hunting the local wildlife in the area.

Figure 4 showing crocodile and kangaroo

This picture displays a python, with three barramundi, creatures still hunted by the Gagudju today, are shown being hunted by figures shown on the left extreme. Another panel of art work displays a freshwater crocodile, shown in figure 4. This is an animal that is still hunted today, as shown by the aboriginal in figure 5, collecting the eggs of a crocodile while the reptile was away.
